DAYSTAR RECOVERY HOUSING

Daystar Center operates two recovery houses located in Harrisburg with a capacity for 10 individuals (5 per house). Daystar Center’s recovery houses are closely monitored by Daystar staff. Our recovery houses provide a safe transition into the community for graduates of Daystar Center’s inpatient treatment program. Recovery house residents begin gaining independence through paying rent on a weekly basis, food budgeting, and maintaining a healthy living environment while continuing to balance their recovery and employment.

About Daystar Recovery Houses

• Residency in Daystar Recovery Houses is for Daystar Halfway House Graduates.

• Daystar offers two different recovery houses one of these options is $125 a week and the other is $150 a week. 

• Included in rent is all utilities, access to WIFI, as well as laundry on site.

Requirements for living in the recovery house

• Residents must attend 4 outside meetings that prompts sobriety such as NA, AA or any other meeting for recovery. Residents much complete and hand in a meeting sheet as well as a sheet for any passes they may want to use on Wednesdays. 

• Every Wednesday there is a mandatory house meeting for both of the recovery houses. 

• Every resident must complete a chore daily and deep clean every Saturday for GI. 

• Residents have to adhere to a curfew.

• Residents are subject to random urines and drug screens that are completed from time to time.
